There are very few people in this world who, and I dare say this, are so influential and genuine and extraordinarily wonderful, that one simply cannot resist thinking of being like them – for they know – that even if a part of them can be like the person they look up to….they would have a life that people will want and envy. For me, that person has always been Ms Oprah Winfrey. I know people have their own theories to give, and their own perceptions to believe – but I have adored this woman for ever since I can remember. And she has never given me a reason Not To!If you have ever known Oprah, you will be very well aware of the fact that she is one tough lady – she knows how to stand up for what she believes in – soulfully believing in the concept of giving Back, and it is evident by the number of people who adore her that all of this is true! She has always kept her audience ahead of everything else, and now that she is running her final Season of the show, she is leaving no stone unturned to give as much as she can to those who truly deserve – and that not only include people who really need it, but also those who have been giving back to society – giving out stuff ranging from the very hot Apple iPads to the ever-lush Sony Bravia 3D Televisions to the unrevealed-super expensive Volkswagen Beatles – She is doing as much as she can! But it’s not all about the big stuff that touches me, and impresses me and shows me the power she has, it is her ability to slip in smaller gifts in-between the larger ones – taking in the promise of her audience that they will give those away to someone who they think truly is in need! Now that’s what I call true charity! Giving out things is easy…making people do it is a task – a task that needs talent, and the power of ‘O’. Like Oprah said at the end of her favourite things show, “It’s not about the stuff really - It’s about hope – about knowing that something really magical, and joyful and wonderful can happen to you when you least expect it – be the person to get that magic into someone’s life. You will love the feeling!”
