My Mood Series – Season 2

Mood - A characteristic (habitual or relatively temporary) state of feeling – is individualistic. And people tend to act (and react) differently to the moods they bear and encounter. Some would break a glass when angry, while some would just lay still when grumped – some will ponder their thoughts when delighted while some will shed a tear when dumped! Yes, each of us has a different way of dealing with moods, but what counts most is the way we choose our next course of action – for that determines what our upcoming mood will be!
My way of expressing what I’m feeling deep within is a little different, and to be a modest, better than most people! I tend to convert my moods into cartoons, and put them on display for all around me at work to see. What started out as a simple activity took a shape I had not imagined it will, and I got all the more moody – and with variety!
Here is a collection of the successful ‘My Mood Series – Season 2’. For people who missed out Season 1, can catch it all HERE. I thank everyone who appreciated my drawings, and for the people who still haven’t gotten the gist,  well, I am soon gonna launch Season 3! Yay!

One Chapter Closes - and Another Begins..!

“One chapter closes - and another begins” - This is something that people who frequently change their places or their lives often relate to...and why shouldn’t they? For they have taken on a new Odyssey - bringing an end to the old one - they march out to greater seas to attain much more out of their lives.

But what about the people who are left behind in time? The loved ones they adore and claim to have become their family? The friends who were thought of as people they couldn’t live without? Where does all that go? Yes, life goes on, and so do we ….and it’s the bond that is carried, and strengthened with time.

I am not writing all this in agitation or agony…nor am I doing this in sadness or remorse of any kind - I am only writing this because I got present to a very similar situation recently, and the feelings that surrounded me at that particular moment in time – the last hug and the final goodbye – I was motionless…I didn’t know what was going on, but I wanted it to stop – and sadly, it didn’t!

I knew Arpit Jain for the last 2 years – he was a colleague, who eventually became a friend – and then a room-mate …..And as often it so happens….you tend to fall in love with your room mate, and if he is as sweet and caring and as loving as Arpit, well.., you get the meaning! J

So here’s to the 2 years that we happily spent together – to those funny moments we laughed at together, to the moments where one of us got weak and the other showed support - to the never-ending bike rides we had together, and to the long-lasting discussion and argument sessions. Also, here’s to a long and bright future that both of us will witness and share, and to the never-ending bond that will only grow stronger and stronger. And finally, here’s to an exceptional friend, and even more importantly, an extraordinary Human-Being!

Yes, one chapter has finally closed – and another begins…NOW!

I love you, Mr. Arpit Jain! J

My Mood Series

For many days now, I have been drawing moods on my office desk white board. The picture that I draw usually depicts how I am feeling on that particular day. The idea is simple....to vent out my mind's status to the people around me even when the vocal medium fails me. And thus....My Mood Series was born.

I started doing it way back in November of 2009, when my life at work was becoming monotonous. The drawing gave me a mood swing...and I liked it. I initially started mailing these pictures to a few of my friends....and they loved it. Slowly, the mailing circle grew big, and today, I thought that I should finally Blog it. :-)

Currently I am in the Season 2 of My Mood Series. I stopped drawing for a few months because there was a lot of work pressure. But then, I realized that there will always be pressure, and that doesn't mean I should stop doing what I love, isn't it? ;-)

These images that you see are some of the compilations from Season 1. I hope you like them. And I hope it solves the purpose for which it was created - to bring a smile on your face. :-)
